Itinerary For 2 days Express Desert Tour From Marrakech to Merzouga Desert and Fes:

Day 1 : Marrakech - Ait Benhaddou - Ouarzazate - Merzouga Desert

Your two-day excursion from Marrakech to Merzouga and Fes will begin with a pick-up at your hotel by a driver from the Marrakech. hotel or riad in Marrakech in the early morning at 7:00 am and depart to the high atlas highlands, travelling through tizi n tichka port with breaks for panoramic views and snapping pictures of the berber settlements and its stunning surroundings along the way. Then we carry on to Ait Ben Haddou, often known as the "walled village," which has been a Unesco World Heritage Site since 1986. Many well-known movies, including "Game of Thrones," "Gladiator," "The Mummy," and many others, have been filmed in this breathtaking location.

The next stop on our excursion is Ouarzazate, which is also known as the doorway to the desert; from there, we travel the road to Draa Valley. We'll pull over a few times so you can take in the breathtaking panorama of the valley. It is the valley with the longest length in all of Morocco. Our journey will continue to the small Berber village of nkobe, where we will take a break for lunch. After lunch, we will continue on our way to the desert to reach the breathtaking dunes of merzouga, where we will experience camel trekking through the golden sand dunes, take a break to watch the incredible sunset over the dunes, and try sandboarding before the sun sets.

After that, continue on to the Berber camp in Merzouga, where you will be greeted with a glass of mint tea and invited to relax until it is time for dinner. After dinner, you will be treated to some traditional Berber drumming music around the fire, after which you will sleep in a nomadic tented camp and admire the beautiful starry sky.

Day 2 : Merzouga, Ziz Valley, Middle Atlas, Cedar Forest, and Fes on Day 2 of the Tour

After getting up early to see the sun rise over the sand dune close to the camp, you will enjoy a delectable breakfast and have a shower at the camp. After that, you will ride the camels back to the starting point, or if you prefer, we will transfer you to the starting point in a 4WD vehicle.

After this, we'll continue on our way to Fes via the Ziz Valley, which is home to the country's second-longest river. After crossing the Middle Atlas Mountains, from which you'll be able to take in breathtaking panoramas, you'll have some free time to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. As we continue on our way to Fes in the afternoon, we'll make a stop at a cedar forest in Azrou, where we'll see wild monkeys . We will make a pit stop in Ifrane, also known as the "Switzerland of Morocco." After traveling from Marrakech to Fes over the course of two days, we will arrive in Fes in the late afternoon, drop you off at your accommodation, and then conclude our tour.
