Itinerary For 8-
Day 1: From Marrakech to Casablanca
Today, we drive to Casablanca, Morocco's commercial hub. Depending on the group's arrival time, they will see the city, including a guided tour of the Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest in the world.
Day 2: From Casablanca to Rabat and Fes
Today, following breakfast, we'll head to Fes. On the way, you'll stop at Rabat, Morocco's capital and seat of the King. After lunch, you'll continue on to Fes, Morocco's spiritual capital. Optional visits to the ancient Roman remains of Volubilis and the imperial capital of Meknes are available.
Day 3: Fes guided tour
Today, following breakfast, we will begin our guided tour of the Fes medina, one of the greatest fortified cities in the world. You will walk through small lanes lined with fresh fruit, spice mounds, elaborately woven Berber carpets, and a variety of other Moroccan art pieces. We will visit the King's Palace, tanneries, and potters, to name a few locations. Lunch will be served in a typical restaurant in the medina's core. Following lunch, the trip will conclude and you will return to your hotel for the evening.
Day 4: from Erfoud to Merzouga desert
Today, in the afternoon, you will go on a 4-
Day 5: from Merzouga desert to Todra and Dades Gorges
We continue after breakfast via the stunning High Atlas mountains, where we will drop you off at your riad/hotel. That concludes the excursion from Marrakech. After breakfast, you'll return to the 4x4s and go back to Erfoud, passing through the High Atlas Mountains on our way to the Todra Gorges. In the afternoon, you'll go to the majestic Todra Gorges for a hike (600 feet high). The gorgeous river valleys provide for an idyllic trek towards Morocco's southeast.
Day 6: From Casablanca to Rabat and Fes
Today, following breakfast, we'll head to Fes. On the way, you'll stop at Rabat, Morocco's capital and seat of the King. After lunch, you'll continue on to Fes, Morocco's spiritual capital. Optional visits to the ancient Roman remains of Volubilis and the imperial capital of Meknes are available.
Day 7: From Dades Gorges to Ait Benhaddou and Marrakech
Following a leisurely breakfast, you depart for Marrakech via Ouarzazate. You will explore one of Morocco's gems, Kasbah Ait Benhaddou. Following lunch, you'll travel over the highlands to Marrakech.
Day 8: from Marrakech to Casablanca
Today, we'll have a guided tour of Marrakech, Morocco's southern gem. You'll come upon the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and several more hidden gems. On your final day of travel, you will return to Casablanca.
